Should have made it sooner

Honestly after sinking 20+ hours In on this game I've really come to savor the bear upon to move feature and auto battle. I think the touchpad or a controller just takes as well much fourth dimension and certain it'due south classic and you'd experience like you lot are playing an former schoolhouse game but these features are great for someone with a bad attention span like myself who gets tired of plough based combat. I am on a journey to beat each Final Fantasy in order and I'thou very glad to have played this pixel remastered edition. Information technology'southward not my commencement time playing FFI but information technology is my first time beating the game and I do believe it was those features that sold information technology for me. I'll be dorsum to write a review on FFII when I've beaten it!

Great Game!

Played and beat the start i. I notice someone else maxim something like "if you knew the pc version had controller and so you should accept gotten that i instead of crying about the mobile 1" . Well I will say this, ALL the articles and previews of the game stated controller support and did non differentiate which version. At that place are games on the App Shop that accept controller back up but don't country it so people take the chance and download it and so get screwed over, I actually don't think is is right and it is misleading. Other than that the mobile controls are definitely improve than the mobile version earlier this and slap-up at all to be honest and the game itself is fantastic. Just bring controller support at some point

Nonetheless no controller support

This is a beautiful remastering of the series. I saturday downwards to play for a chip, turned on and connected my controller (PS4), loaded the game and... However no controller back up.

I realize that Square Enix wasn't really maintaining all of the previous core FF games on iOS (as much attempt was clearly put into them when they were beginning released). But in one case this "remastered" versions started coming out, I assumed that they would engineer them to be the all-time they could be. I love using a controller for iOS games where they make sense. It makes perfect sense in this game. I equally hate when a game that clearly needs controller support doesn't testify information technology. I've read through the SDK. Information technology isn't that hard to add.

I am not sure how Square Enix notwithstanding sees information technology as acceptable to offer the Last Fantasy games without controller support, but information technology has actually reduced my expectations for this new line of remastered games - to the point where I don't really want to buy any more than than this first one until controller support is added.

Note: I ain ALL of the previously released core iOS Final Fantasy games and planned to purchase all of these as well. Really disappointed, just yet leaving this more than than i star since the game itself is truly gorgeous.
